La r\u00e9gulation de l\u2019oestrog\u00e8ne est favoris\u00e9e par le calcium et la vitamine D. Un d\u00e9r\u00e8glement important au niveau de l\u2019oestrog\u00e8ne, tel qu\u2019\u00e0 la m\u00e9nopause chez la femme, peut alors conduire \u00e0 l\u2019ost\u00e9oporose. De la m\u00e9dication peut \u00e9galement entra\u00eener ce d\u00e9r\u00e8glement et certains cancers avec m\u00e9tastases osseuses peuvent aussi diminuer la densit\u00e9 osseuse.<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9r\u00e8glement se situe au niveau des cellules qui d\u00e9truisent l\u2019os vs celles qui b\u00e2tissent de l\u2019os. L\u2019\u00e9quilibre entre les deux processus se fait continuellement au cours de notre vie et cela se nomme le remaniement osseux. Jeune, ceci contribue \u00e0 la croissance osseuse et adulte, il aide \u00e0 toujours avoir de l\u2019os \u2018\u2019neuf\u2019\u2019 et aussi \u00e0 la consolidation osseuse apr\u00e8s une fracture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cons\u00e9quences<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diminution de la densit\u00e9 osseuse;<\/li>\n<li>Risque de fracture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Articulations les plus fr\u00e9quentes<\/strong><br \/>\nPeut affecter toutes les os, mais souvent on observe des fractures, suite \u00e0 des chutes,telles que les fractures de la hanche, du bras, du bassin et de la colonne.
